1. Feather Selection

We source naturally molted feathers from peacocks and carefully hand-select only those with rich, saturated blues and clean structure. The finest feathers come from the neck area—known for its tight texture and luminous color. We discard any pieces with damage, dullness, or inconsistent striping.

2. Smoothing and Backside Gluing

Each feather is gently combed and aligned, then coated on the back with a custom-formulated adhesive that binds the fibers into a stable, artisan-crafted feather canvas while preserving the untouched front and its natural luster. The feather canvas is pressed flat and left to dry under gentle weight, creating an even surface for precise trimming.

3. Fine Cutting

Once dry, the feather canvas is cut by hand using precision tools. Many of the final forms are small and intricate, requiring steady hands and close attention to detail. Pieces are often trimmed and reshaped repeatedly until they meet our standards of clarity and proportion.

4. Assembly and Featherwork Arrangement

The cut feather pieces are arranged into structured, fixed compositions that emphasize flow and cohesion. This stage is all about matching color, contour, and direction to create a harmonious whole.
